International Summer Seminar in Yiddish Language and Culture

Submerge yourself in our intensive Yiddish summer course and a variety of language-related activities in our Warsaw Yiddish Center.

The 14th International Summer Seminar in Yiddish Language and Culture will take place in Warsaw, Poland from 27 June to 15 July 2016.

The Seminar is organised by the Centre for Yiddish Culture and the Shalom Foundation. It will include 60 hrs of language instruction and 10 hrs of afternoon language tutorial for beginners or speaking classes for more advanced students. In addition to that, a series of afternoon lectures and workshops on topics such as Yiddish song, theater, or Yiddish manuscripts, as well as evening movie screenings.

To top it off, guided tours of Warsaw and visits to the Jewish Historical Institute and other venues and museums will be included.
